Donna and Don Mount Hillaby 1105 ft; 337 m Higest Point on Barbados |
We had some scattered showers on Barbados but managed to avoid the rain. Donna and Don hired a cab to go To Welchman Hall Gully which has a lot of flora and fauna. It was a cave where the roof collapsed. The cab driver took us up on the highest point on Barbados, Mount Hillaby, that overlooks the East side and we had a very cold Banks beer which is the local brew. They also have a Banks Rum distillery that we drove by as well as the other two, Mount Gay Rum and Malibu Rum. The taxi driver claimed that rum was invented on Barbados.
