After our ship left San Diego on Oct 6, we visited the ports of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Acapulco and Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica before we did our crossing of the Panama Canal. We were the largest vessel to transit the canal on Oct 15 so received the number one position and started out about 5:30 am. The Galaxy went under the first bridge just before daylight but the sun was up when we entered the first set of locks. After leaving the canal, we visited the ports of Cartagena, Columbia; Aruba, Curaçao, St. Thomas, USVI and then San Juan, Puerto Rico. Click on the links to other pages for pictures of these port visits.
